Why does Royal Glass charge a surcharge on Visa and MasterCards?
Whenever a customer uses their VISA or MasterCard to pay for goods (and associated services), the company is charged a merchant service fee by the banks. A surcharge of 3% is applied so that only those customers who choose to pay by VISA or MasterCard  bare the cost of the merchant fee.
 
I have a Visa or MasterCard Debit card, do I still get charged the surcharge if I use this to pay my goods?
Yes – even choosing savings account when using your VISA or MasterCards will incur the surcharge as Royal Glass are charged for this also.
 
If I do not wish to pay the surcharge, how else can I pay for my goods?
Royal Glass provides other payment options as listed on your Sales Quotations include Cash and Direct Bank Transfer.
 
Royal Glass returns policy is in addition to your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Law because we want you to be happy with your purchase. 
Please read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under this policy and our obligations to you.
 
Allowable Returns
 
Royal Glass will accept product returns and provide you with a refund, replacement product or repair where:
The product is faulty or is not of acceptable quality; or
The product is not fit for its intended purpose; or
The product does not match the sample or description; and
 
Royal Glass reserves the right not to offer a refund, replacement product or repair where the item fault is a result of misuse or neglect.
 
Change of mind Returns
Royal Glass is not legally obliged to offer a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind or choose the incorrect products. However, we understand that sometimes circumstances may change and want to assist where possible. We reserve the right to charge an appropriate restocking fee to recoup the costs of processing the return and returning the goods to our shelves. 
We will only consider a refund or return if:
The goods are returned in original packaging
The goods are not damaged or soiled in any way
The goods are fit for resale as a “new” product
The goods are returned within 7 days from date of purchase
 
Change of mind returns are at the absolute discretion of Royal Glass and its representatives, however our commitment to our customers is to act reasonably in these circumstances, without disadvantaging our customer or our business. We would only ever sell our customer “as new” products and cannot accept any returns where the product does not meet these criteria.
 
Customer Order Returns
Custom Orders are manufactured specifically for the customer and cannot be returned for exchange or refund once manufacturing has commenced.
